Customizing Rotomolded Parts

There are several ways to put logos, part numbers, and other information into your rotational molded parts. The preferred approach is to emboss the logo by CNC machining the information you would like to show up on the part into the mold itself.
For graphics with colors we can also either put the logo into the mold during the molding process or put the graphic into the part after the molding process. We don't typically recommend using graphics in the molding process as it can increase cost significantly. The resins used in rotational molding have low surface energies so it is difficult to add stickers/graphics to the part after the molding process. With that being said, we have techniques and machinery to allow us to treat the surface of the part to be able to improve the adhesion of these graphics to the part. We recommend not to use graphics and to use CNC engraved product information into the mold when possible.
