Mold making is a critical foundation of high-quality rotational molding, directly impacting part accuracy, consistency, and cycle efficiency. At Rotomold Mexico, we design and manufacture custom molds using advanced machining processes and state-of-the-art equipment. Our expertise in CNC billet aluminum, cast aluminum, and sheet metal molds allows us to deliver durable, precision-engineered tooling tailored to specific production and performance requirements.
We have a large machine shop with over 30 machines and a team of welders to make and/or maintain your billet aluminum molds. Billet molds are the highest quality molds for parts that require complex geometry. Typical lead times are 4-6 weeks.
Casted molds are the most used at our facility. Molds are casted, the inside machined down then either textured or polished to ensure a perfect finish on the inside. These molds are relatively cost effective when compared to billet molds. Typical lead times are 6-8 weeks
Sheet metal molds are the most cost effective way to build a mold for large parts that don’t require complex geometry. Metal is bent and welded in house to ensure high quality. Typical lead times are 2-4 weeks.

What rotomolding manufacturing processes do you have?
We have over 330,000 sq ft of manufacturing space in Baja California, Mexico, with extensive capabilities. We have 6 rotomolding machines that range from 1.9-meter oven diameters to 4.5 meters.
Which countries do you ship?
We have trucks crossing into the USA every single day with warehouses on the West Coast, East Coast, and even in Canada. We are located within a few miles of the port of Ensenada and within a few hours from the Port of Long Beach and can ship product worldwide.

What's the biggest part you can run?
12 long part, but depending on the project, different machines and arms can be used to accommadate your needs.
Are molds stored inside or outside?
Molds are stored inside and away from harsh weather.
Do you require minimum order quantities?
Yes, we do require MOQs. It all depends on the customer and project.
Can you do full assemblies?
Assemblies will be considered depending on the customer and its requirements, but not something we specialize in.
